Here we were to create an online menu for a small restaurant, named N-eat, the menu is plant based.
The expectation for this website is basic since it is coded from scratch. A simple design where the menu is in focus and the contact page should be easy to find. The emphasis should be on idea, typography, aesthetics, and style.
We could choose to do one page, but I felt I needed to have 3, one start page, second for the menu and the third for the contact page.
We needed to do a logo as well and I decided to do a wordmark.
I chose to go with a white one and found a font named “Montserrat Surbaya”, that made the word look like a table with the hyphen.
The main purpose was to create a menu that is appealing, by adding a nice style to it, adding the right fonts, using the right amount of white space and that it is easy to navigate.
It should also function on various platforms, like tablets and mobile phones.
